Community Relations Manager

PURPOSE:
 
A Community Relations Manager develops strategy and programs designed to make positive contributions to the community. The scope of the role is to nurture positive relationships between the company and the local community.
 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
  • Organize community outreach programs and events for the local community
  • Attend relevant events and activities to represent the company with the local community
  • Building and maintaining relationships with community members
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships within the company and collaborate with other departments to implement initiatives aimed at the local community
  • Administrative management of the Area (budgeting, reporting, billing)

SKILLS:
  • At least two years of work experience in public relations or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive or controversial subjects with tact, kindness, and professionalism
  • High flexibility: activities may require business travel or weekend commitments
